Early, On Time, or Late? by June Love

fter a recent comment my husband made, I’ve been giving this a lot of thought. His comment, “You’re getting better about not running late.” It had almost become a joke at our house that he’d build in extra time to allow me to be ready “on time”. Only, that didn’t always work because I knew he’d added to the “leave” time. What confused matters more, my alarm clock is set for thirty minutes ahead. So, not only was I subtracting my husband’s extra time, but I was also having to subtract thirty minutes from my clock. Oh, and have I mentioned that I’m horrible at math? The result of all the subtracting? I was late. A lot.
