I was recently asked few questions by my Grimlets:
Grimlet Mud : Would you suggest moving there? 😊 Would she call Saul?
Darynda: I LOVE ABQ! I've lived here twice before and the area we moved to is to die for. Love, love, love. And I'll only call Saul if I'm arrested. Hopefully that won't happen, though I'd love to meet him!
Grimlet Bobbie: Did you ride Sandia Peak and were you as scared as I was? LOL Did you choose Albuquerque or did it choose you?
Darynda: LOL, I have ridden the Tram, but it was many years ago. My sister has never been, so we have plans on getting her up to Sandia Peak. And it's a little of both, really. I've been coming to ABQ for one reason or another for almost 30 years. I gradated from UNM, have my writing peeps, and love the food. So much to love.
Grimlet Jennifer L.: What is your favorite restaurant? Have you eaten at El Pinto?
Darynda: Funny you should mention El Pinto! It's in my top three! I love Papadeaux, PF Chang's, Papa Burger, Plum Cafe, Sadies, the Frontier... so many.
Grimlet Sunny: What will be the first thing you will order at the Frontier Restaurant as a resident of Albuquerque? What makes Albuquerque an ideal place to visit?
Darynda: I always order two carne adovado burritos (they are small there) and a sweet roll. Mmmmmm... ABQ is ideal. The weather is awesome. The cultures are incredible. The shopping is great. And the food...omg the food. I highly recommend the Balloon Fiesta in October and Bubonicon in August. But there is so much to do here. Wine tastings, Native American and Hispanic art shows, just so much.
Grimlet Sylvia S. : What do you see when you look out your front window that is different from your last home?
Darynda: Foliage! LOL. The area we moved to, the North Valley, is lush and beautiful. We live very close to the Rio Grande, so lots of green stuff.
Grimlet Marie B: Whats your favorite thing about Albuquerque?
Darynda: There is so much to do. You can't get bored here. I am actually a home body, but there are so many writing events
Grimlet Pam R. : Does Rumor have plenty of room to stretch her wheels?
Darynda: Yes she does! LOL
