YES!!!! It’s finally happened! I have a street team!

I’ve had so many people ask me how to join my street team lately (thank you so much, btw!), I figured I might should get one. So I sent out a call to arms and the LOVELY team of Dana Alma, Karin Anderson, and Jowanna Kestner, aka Mama Grimlet, rose to the occasion, God bless ‘em.

So, what is a street team, you ask?

That was my question as well. Apparently it is a team of readers from all over the country and/or world who basically take to the streets and pimp an author’s books, in this case mine. Woot!

What’s in it for the team? Well, if you guys are anything like me, you can’t not tell people about your favorite authors and books. So, there is that satisfaction and the validation that now you have a ‘reason’ to shout about a particular set of books: you are part of the team.

Also, there’s free stuff. 😊

That’s right. The coordinators will send the team members things like bookmarks, notebooks, pens, key chains, etc., to share with their friends, book clubs, librarians...anyone who will listen. And of course, the team member gets to keep some of the booty for herself.

*Registration has been an overwhelming success and they had to close it while they get the districts sorted out. They will reopen particular regions that have the least membership soon. I'll post here when they do! Thank you!
