’m a huge fan of staying busy. I thrive when I have too much to do and, despite what appears borderline nuts to others, I’m happiest when I’m actively engaged in projects and activities that pull me in several directions. While there are occasional moments of recognizing I’ve over-committed myself, for the most part I’ve discovered this is how I most enjoy living my life.
What I’ve found in the last few years, though, is that amidst all this activity, there is this pervasive sense of dissatisfaction. Where I used to finish a project and feel engaged and excited, of late it’s been tinged with feelings of “it wasn’t completed fast enough” or “try harder next time.”
