I admit to being 100% biased on this but I love Charley Davidson and adore Darynda Jones's writing. It is bittersweet saying goodbye to such a favourite character and I loved this but had tears at end as I didn't want it to. But I'm happy for this to end on a high than carry on with lesser material as some series do. Thank you Darynda for the journey, the highs and lows and for two main characters I will love forever

Written with a great sense of humor and humanity, this 13th book of the series was not a disappointment. It is a must read for anyone that has enjoyed following the most unlikely god and her various friends and family.

WOW talk about going out with a bang! This really was the perfect cherry on top of this wonderful Charley Davidson sundae.... or probably more appropriate the whip on top of The coffee drink... this really was an exceptional series and I have enjoyed every single minute I have spent with these wonderful characters! I will miss them dearly

Grim Reaper Charley Davidson is back in the final installment of Darynda Jones’ New York Times bestselling paranormal series!
Charley Davidson, Grim Reaper extraordinaire, is pissed. She’s been kicked off the earthly plane for eternity –which is exactly the amount of time it takes to make a person stark, raving mad. But someone’s looking out for her, and she’s allowed to return after a mere hundred years in exile. Is it too much to hope for that not much has changed? Apparently it is. Bummer.
She’s missed her daughter. She’s missed Reyes. She’s missed Cookie and Garrett and Uncle Bob. But now that she’s back on earth, it’s time to put to rest burning questions that need answers. What happened to her mother? How did she really die? Who killed her? And are cupcakes or coffee the best medicine for a broken heart? It all comes to a head in an epic showdown between good and evil in this final smart and hilarious novel.
